STEM
Our STEM Programming is designed to expand access to STEM education in Houston by equipping youth and young adults with critical skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics that align with today’s workforce and future careers. Through hands-on learning, workshops, mentorship, and community partnerships, this program focuses on technology literacy, engineering fundamentals, robotics and coding basics, problem-solving skills, innovation, and career exploration in STEM fields. This work is especially important in Houston, one of the nation’s largest STEM-driven economies, where STEM occupations grow faster than non-STEM jobs, yet students from low-income and underserved communities remain underrepresented in STEM careers.
In delivering accessible STEM education programs in Houston, we aim to close opportunity gaps, inspire the next generation of innovators, and prepare students for high-demand, high-wage careers that strengthen both individual economic mobility and the region’s long-term workforce development.
